It's truly a wonderful place to unwind and get back to nature. Hot tub was maintained daily, and the animals were an added bonus for the children. Already planning a return visit with more family”

“We stayed at Foxgloves in Penllwyn Lodges - 4 adults plus our dog.
The location in the woods is fantastic - despite being bombarded with falling acorns !
The lodges are well spread out and the grounds are immaculate. The lake complete with Swans, Ducks and Goats make a lovely late evening stroll - or walk along the canal instead.
Lodge was nice and clean and very well equipped.
Close to Newtown and Welshpool to stock up for BBQ and wine !
We loved the stay for a week - perfect UK break and would recommend it to anyone.”

“We came here as a family to celebrate my other half’s 40th birthday. What an amazing place! We stayed at the Pines lodge and the views are fabulous! The lodge is beautiful, clean and cozy!
The whole park is breath-taking and the staff are very friendly and helpful! We have enjoyed our stay so much that we have booked to come again at the end of June! Experience Winter here and now we want to experience summer! I give this place 5 stars! An absolute gem of a find! Highly recommended!”

“Me and my girlfriend stayed here for 3 nights in February.We stayed in the Sycamore cabin.On arrival the staff were very helpful & friendly, the cabin was warmed up prior to our arrival so was lovely to walk into when we got there.The hot tub was all ready to be used.It was so peaceful, everything about the setting was just beautiful.The cabin was clean & well equipped with everything we needed, the walk along the canal is peaceful and very scenic & I would highly recommend the golf club just a 10 minute walk away, we had a lovely lunch and a nice walk there and back. Already going to book this again for next year as our peaceful get away for 3 nights.Would highly reccomend this place.Perfect romantic getaway”

“We book this holiday to escape and truly relax, which is achieved with stunning unspoilt views. Also limited light pollution due to positions of cabins, which is great on a clear night for using the sites star gazing machine. We have found staff to be helpful and friendly. This is our second visit in January and have already booked for next year. Love the hot tubs and the cabins are really nice too”

“I've just come home from my second stay in two years and had to rebook again for next summer. The lodges are lovely and have everything you need, the site is very well kept and spacious, the dogs love it here (happy squeals at the entrance guaranteed) and the hot tubs are a great, fun addition. You can easily spend the whole trip onsite but you can also find pubs, gardens, castles/ruins and shops nearby, plus beaches and other attractions a bit further away. The setting and staff are brilliant and we cant wait to head back into the woods! Our new favourite holiday spot. Thank you, Penllywn”
